Since these are some of my favorite threads on other dagorhir forums I lurk on, I've decided to start one on our new forum. It's one of my few days off...I'm starting on my tent.

There is the long part. Just take your time, can't wait to see how it turns out though. Good luck with it. ^_^

There's more work done on my tent, but I don't have any pictures of it. I think there's only one more piece that needs to be sewn on it and it's essentially finished except for the ties and the poles. Right now I'm cutting out winningas.

I'm attempting to wake up enough to make it to work today and then drive to Chicago. >.<
Then there will hopefully be cookie making and hand sewing happening.

Non-viking project table. I'll post pictures when you can actually tell it's a table (might not be until January or February).

Staying up all night finishing a take-home exam on archaeological theory. Right now, I'm working on the relationship of archaeology and politics (it's messy! As a tip: anything that talks about the 'Germanness' of something was probably written by someone who cared as much about making modern Germany look good as he did the archaeological material he was studying - threat such things with caution. In fact, treat all archaeology with caution, until you can figure out where it's coming from, just like you would the news, or anything else that's written in a book).

I had to tackle a research paper about the Christianization of Scandinavia. Good stuff.
